Since news broke weeks ago the Internal Revenue Service was targeting conservative groups, there have been numerous calls to investigate and reform the agency.
Investigate? You bet. Those responsible should be punished.
Reform? Yes — but we have different ideas.
Reforming the processes some in the IRS used to harass the conservative groups would become a moot point if real reform took place — changing the way we’re taxed.
This embarrassing disaster can be an opportunity.
